There’s a new Loomie strolling into the Lovely Loomies family… Meet Arthur the Tuxedo Cat, playful, curious and a little mischievous.
Arthur was inspired by Gus, a beloved Loomie now imagined in classic black and white. With his classic tuxedo look and whimsical expression, chubby Arthur quickly developed a personality all his own.
Why I loved designing Arthur
Arthur brings together everything I adore about loom knitting: soft yarn, simple shapes, and the magic of watching a character appear. A few stitched details, a gentle fluff with a wire brush, white eye accents and suddenly he’s looking up with that playful, whimsical expression you immediately fall in love with. That moment of personality is why I love creating my Loomies.
Arthur is made on a 24-peg round loom and a French spool loom, which makes him a perfect small project for beginners and fun for knitters who enjoy shaping and assembling pieces.

What makes Arthur special
- His tuxedo markings — a classic cat look
- His cuddly chubby shape
- His whimsical look created by white eye accents
- His soft rounded snout that you can gently fluff for extra cuteness
- His fluffy pointed ears
- His fluffy white tail tip
- Beginner-friendly construction — seven simple pieces
- Customisable — add a tophat, a bowtie, or even a tiny scarf
He may be small (about 15 cm tall), but what he lacks in size he makes up for in character.
