Welcome to LovelyLoomies! I’m Christa Staunton-Plat, and I’m delighted to have created this website to share my passion for designing and loom knitting stuffed animals using knitting looms. I lovingly refer to my creations as “Loomies,” and I hope they bring you joy, inspiration, and a smile.
I’ve always adored knitted animals and toys, but the thought of relearning knitting or crochet techniques deterred me. Frankly, I never excelled at them in the past, struggling with dropped stitches and the complexities of needles and hooks. However, everything changed when I stumbled upon a loom-knitted teddy bear on Pinterest. It instantly captivated me, and I embarked on learning the basic loom knitting techniques. From there, I began designing my own unique creations. And now, here I am, happily loom knitting away, usually accompanied by my favorite TV shows. I highly recommend loom knitting—it’s foolproof, relaxing, and a wonderful escape from the demands of daily life.

In order to support the creation and maintenance of patterns, I kindly request a small fee for their purchase. Although the pattern library is currently limited, I am committed to expanding it over time, introducing new designs. I’m more than happy to assist and discuss the possibility of making it available for you.
